Most weight loss programs make you fill in a form before they show you a price. This page is the price.

Society is a cash-pay telehealth practice, 100% online. You pay one monthly amount, it covers your clinician and your medication, and no insurance is involved at any point. Below is every medication we offer, where each price starts, what a plan includes, what it does not, what a standalone lab panel costs, and what happens if you want to stop.

GLP-1 pricing at Society.

Every price below is a starting price. The plan a clinician determines is right for you is what sets your monthly amount, and you see that figure before you are asked to pay.

Every figure above is a starting price, not a flat rate at every dose. "From $149" means semaglutide plans begin at $149 per month. It does not mean every semaglutide plan costs $149, and it is not a promise that your price holds as your plan changes. What you pay depends on the plan a licensed clinician determines is appropriate for you, and you see that number before you are asked to pay anything. Ask us for your figure, and ask every other provider for theirs, before you compare.
Society does not offer Zepbound®. It is the tirzepatide product approved for chronic weight management, it is the one most people are comparing against, and it is not on that table because we do not dispense it. If brand Zepbound is what you want, buy it through Eli Lilly's own self-pay channel or a retail pharmacy with a prescription, and our tirzepatide cost page prices those routes for you. On the tirzepatide side, what we offer is compounded tirzepatide from $249 per month and brand Mounjaro from $1,395 per month for its approved type 2 diabetes use.

The brand prices are for brand product. Mounjaro, Ozempic and Wegovy are manufactured by Eli Lilly and Novo Nordisk and dispensed through US licensed pharmacies. You are getting the same pen a retail pharmacy dispenses.

Two of these products are approved for type 2 diabetes, not weight management. Mounjaro and Ozempic are diabetes medications. Which product is appropriate for you is determined by your diagnosis and by the clinician reviewing your history, not by which price you like best.

We currently offer injectable GLP-1 medication only. Metformin is the one oral medication in the range, and metformin is not a GLP-1.

What your plan includes.

There is no membership fee layered underneath a plan and no per-visit charge layered on top. One monthly amount covers all six of the following.

A personalized treatment plan. Built by a licensed US practitioner who reviews your medical history and decides whether treatment is appropriate for you at all. Providers are licensed in the state where you are located at the time of your consultation, and availability may vary by state.

Your medication. Dispensed through US licensed pharmacies.

Labs. So your clinician is working from your numbers rather than from a questionnaire.

Tailored compounded medication. Where a clinician determines that a commercially available product does not meet your clinical needs.

Expedited shipping. Delivery is free and discreet, in 1 to 2 days.

Continuous clinical assistance. GLP-1 treatment is titrated upward over months. Dose changes, adjustments for side effects and decisions to hold at a dose are part of the plan, not billed events.
Getting to a price costs nothing. The evaluation takes about two minutes, most members hear back from a provider within a day or two, and medication ships shortly after approval. You are quoted before you commit, not after.

Separate lab panels, if you want them.

Beyond the labs included with a treatment plan, you can order a standalone panel and have it drawn at a Quest Diagnostics location, with physician-guided interpretation included. These are one-time prices, not subscriptions, and they are separate from any treatment plan.

What is not included.

Every pricing page should have this section and almost none do.

Insurance billing. Society does not bill insurance, does not accept insurance, and cannot submit claims on your behalf. If you want your plan to pay, this is not the route. Our insurance guide explains how to find out what your plan covers.

Zepbound, Rybelsus® and oral GLP-1s. We currently offer injectable GLP-1 medication only. Metformin is the one oral medication in the range, and metformin is not a GLP-1.

Treatment for conditions other than the one you are being treated for. Society is a focused practice, not a primary care provider. Keep your primary care relationship.

In-person care. Everything is online. If you need a physical examination, you will need to see someone locally.

Manufacturer savings cards. These require commercial insurance and are applied at a retail pharmacy counter, not through a cash-pay telehealth practice.

Refunds for medication already prescribed or dispensed. Read the next section before you pay, not after.

Refund and cancellation, in plain terms.

This is the part most pricing pages bury, so here it is before the buy button rather than after it. These are the real terms, written out in full.

You can pause, switch or cancel anytime. There are no long-term contracts. What cancelling does is stop your future billing cycles, and it does not undo the first two months, which are non-refundable.

The first two months of any treatment plan are strictly non-refundable, under any circumstances. If you start a plan, you are committing to two months of charges. Decide with that in front of you.

Charges already processed are final. Once payment is submitted, the order cannot be cancelled or refunded, whether or not you complete the intake or go ahead with treatment. Cancelling stops what comes next, not what has already been billed.

Medication cannot be returned or refunded once prescribed or dispensed, and an order cannot be cancelled once it has been approved. This is how prescription medication works everywhere, not a Society policy quirk.

Refunds are issued in two situations only. Where a provider finds you are not medically eligible before a prescription is issued, or where there has been a verified billing error.

Refund requests must be submitted within 28 days of the charge. After that window the charge stands.
Getting to a price costs nothing. The Cancellation and refund are two different questions, and the honest answer needs both halves. You can cancel anytime and that stops future billing cycles, and the first two months of any treatment plan are non-refundable. Ask any provider you are comparing us against for both halves of that answer in writing. Full terms are in our refund and cancellation policy. If anything is unclear, ask before you start: support@societyofyou.com or (888) 584-5602, replies typically within 24 hours.evaluation takes about two minutes, most members hear back from a provider within a day or two, and medication ships shortly after approval. You are quoted before you commit, not after.

How this compares to buying the same treatment in pieces.

The fair comparison is not our price against a pharmacy price. It is our price against a pharmacy price plus a prescriber. Buying the same treatment separately means an office visit to get the prescription, which runs $100 to $300 without insurance, plus follow-up visits at each dose change, plus the medication at the pharmacy's price, plus your own time chasing refills.

Where that comparison does not favour us, we will say so plainly. NovoCare Pharmacy, the Novo Nordisk self-pay channel, sold brand Wegovy direct to self-pay patients at around $499 per month as of September 2026, and LillyDirect sold brand Zepbound self-pay vials in the region of $349 to $499 per month over the same period. Both are approximate, both have moved more than once, and both are below our brand prices. Zepbound is not something you can buy from us at any price. If you already have a prescriber you trust and you are comfortable managing titration and side effects yourself, those channels are the better financial decision and you should use them.

We compete on the bundle: one price, one place, clinical oversight the whole way through, and nothing to chase. We do not compete on being the cheapest possible way to obtain brand medication, because we are not.
What you are comparing
Society
A membership model
A promotional first-month offer
A pharmacy price on its own
What to ask for
The monthly price of the plan a clinician puts you on, not the "from" figure
The membership fee and the medication cost, separately
What month two costs, and month six
What the prescriber visit and each follow-up costs
What to multiply
That price times twelve
Both, times twelve
Month two times eleven, plus month one
Medication times twelve, plus every visit
Where it usually goes wrong
Reading "from $149" as the whole answer
The medication is not in the membership
The headline only ever described month one
The prescriber was never in the number
GLP-1 treatment is not a one-month intervention, and most people who respond stay on it, so the number that matters is what you spend across a year. Ask for the price of the plan you would actually be placed on, ask what else appears on the invoice, ask what the refund terms are, then multiply by twelve. That is the only comparison that means anything.

Who Society is not right for.

We would rather you read this before you pay than find out in month two, when the charge is already non-refundable.

You want your insurance to pay. We are cash-pay only, no claim is filed, and your plan will not reimburse you. If your plan does cover your medication, using that coverage will almost always cost you less than paying us. Start with your plan instead.

You are on Medicare or Medicaid and want coverage applied. We cannot bill them, and manufacturer savings cards are closed to you by federal rule. Read our guide to GLP-1s without insurance for the routes that are open.

You want the lowest possible price for brand medication and can manage your own care. The manufacturer self-pay channels described above are cheaper than our brand pricing. Use them.

You specifically want Zepbound. We do not offer it. Nothing on this page changes that.

You want a GLP-1 tablet. We offer injectable GLP-1 medication only.

You need in-person care, or you have a medical history that should be managed face to face. Everything here is online.

You are not certain you want to start. The first two months are non-refundable. There is no harm in taking the free evaluation, getting your number, and thinking about it.
About compounded pricing. The $149 and $249 starting prices are for personalized compounded preparations, and compounded pricing is not a tier you can select. A compounded preparation is made by a pharmacy for one named patient, directed by that patient's prescriber, where a clinician determines the commercially available product does not meet that patient's clinical needs, for instance a documented allergy to an excipient or a strength that is not commercially available. Since mid-2025, compounding a product that is essentially a copy of a commercially available drug has not been permitted for 503A pharmacies or 503B outsourcing facilities, and on 30 April 2026 FDA proposed permanently excluding semaglutide, tirzepatide and liraglutide from the 503B bulk drug substances list. Eligibility is a clinical determination your clinician makes about you.
