Injection Guide
Follow these instructions carefully each time you administer your injection. While the injection technique is similar across treatments, some medications require additional preparation steps.

Step 01

Gather Your Supplies
Before starting, make sure you have:

  • Your prescribed medication (vial or pen)
  • Sterile syringe and needle (included with each shipment)
  • Alcohol swabs
  • Cotton ball or gauze
  • Sharps disposal container
Wash your hands thoroughly with soap and water.
Step 02
Check Your Medication
  • Confirm the correct medication and dose
  • Check the expiration date
  • Ensure the liquid is clear and colorless
Do not use if:
  • The solution is cloudy or discolored
  • The vial appears damaged
  • The medication has been frozen or improperly stored
Step 03
Choose Your Injection Site
All treatments are administered subcutaneously (under the skin).

Recommended areas:
  • Abdomen (at least 2 inches from your navel)
  • Front or sides of the thigh
  • Back of upper arm (if assisted)
  • Upper buttocks / hip area (love handle region)
Rotate injection sites each time to minimize irritation.Wipe the injection site with an alcohol swab and allow the skin to fully dry before injecting.
Step 04
Prepare the Injection
Start by cleaning the injection site
  • Wipe the injection site with an alcohol swab
  • Allow the skin to fully dry before injecting
For GLP-1 Medications (Semaglutide / Tirzepatide / Retatrutide)
  • If using a pen:
  • Remove the cap and follow device-specific instructions
  • If using a vial + syringe:
  • Wipe the vial top with an alcohol swab and allow it to dry
  • Pull back the syringe plunger to draw in air equal to your prescribed dose
  • Insert the needle into the vial and inject the air
  • Turn the vial upside down and slowly draw your prescribed dose
  • Check your dose at eye level for accuracy
  • Tap the syringe gently to bring air bubbles to the top
  • Press the plunger slightly until a small drop appears at the needle tip
Dosing Note:
GLP-1 medications typically follow a structured, once-weekly dosing schedule. Always follow the exact dose prescribed by your provider.
For Other Injectables (NAD+ / Glutathione / GHK-Cu / etc.)
Some peptide medications may require additional preparation.
  • If your medication is already liquid, follow the same steps as above
Important:
Peptide dosing is often more flexible and may be taken multiple times per week. Always follow your specific dosing instructions.
Step 05
Inject the Medication
  • Gently pinch the skin at the injection site
  • Insert the needle at a 90° angle
  • Press the plunger slowly until the full dose is delivered
  • Keep the needle in place for 5–10 seconds to ensure complete delivery
Step 06
Remove & Finish
  • Remove the needle straight out
  • Apply light pressure with gauze if needed
  • Do not rub the injection site
  • Place used needles and syringes into a sharps container
  • Do not reuse needles or share supplies
Important:
  • Rotate injection sites with each use
  • Do not inject into bruised, irritated, or scarred skin
  • Measure doses carefully at eye level
  • Mild redness or swelling may occur and is usually temporary
Treatment Differences
to Be Aware Of
GLP-1 Medications
(Semaglutide / Tirzepatide)
  • Typically injected once weekly
  • Structured dosing schedule
  • Usually lower injection volume
  • Minimal preparation (especially with pens)
For Other Injectables
(NAD+ / Glutathione / etc.)
  • May be injected daily or multiple times per week
  • Dosing may vary depending on your protocol
  • Some (like NAD+ and GHK-Cu) may cause a mild burning sensation during and/or after injection
Storage Guidelines
GLP-1 Medications (Semaglutide / Tirzepatide)
  • Store in refrigerator (36°F–46°F / 2°C–8°C)
  • May be kept at room temperature for a limited time if needed
  • Do not freeze
If left out:
  • Can be kept at room temperature (up to 86°F / 30°C) for up to 21 days
  • If left out longer than 21 days, discard the medication
  • Do not return to the refrigerator after extended room temperature storage
For Other Injectables:
  • Store according to instructions provided
  • Keep refrigerated unless instructed otherwise

Additional Storage Tips

  • Always keep medication out of reach of children
  • Avoid shaking vials unnecessarily
  • Do not use if exposed to extreme heat or freezing temperatures
